Concept Cartoon posters have been successful in raising public awareness and stimulating interest in science. Public transport systems provide access to large numbers of the public. Sponsorship has enabled the Concept Cartoons™ to be used to communicate science to the public through transport systems in the UK and overseas.

Science on the Underground was launched in March 1998.
It uses posters featuring Concept Cartoons™ on the London Underground trains.

Science in Sweden was launched in September 1999.
It used the same posters which featured on the London Underground, translated into Swedish. The posters were displayed on public transport systems in Stockholm, Uppsala, and Gothenburg.

Science in Russia was launched in September 1999.
It used the same posters which featured on the London Underground, translated into Russian. The posters were displayed on public transport systems in Niznhy Novgorod and Ekaterinburg.
